Although the HighBar® System is designed to assist in achieiving optimal retention tightness, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure proper usage according to provided instructions. Do not remove, alter, or tamper with the HighBar® System, and do not use a helmet equipped with the HighBar® System if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
DISCLAIMER: users assume all risks, including injury, death, or property damage, arising from activities while wearing a helmet with the HighBar® System. HighBar® and its affiliates do not warrant that a user wearing a helmet with the HighBar® System will always avoid concussions or other injuries to the brain, head, or body in the event of a collision, fall, or impact. It is the responsibility of the user to read and adhere to provided instructions. Improper usage, including but not limited to: failing to adequately tighten the HighBar® Retention System and/or rear fit system, using a helmet outside of the user’s size range, using a damaged or malfunctioning system, may compromise the effectiveness of the retention system in the event of an impact, entanglement, or any other dangerous and/or unexpected event.
Although HighBar® Retention Systems are designed to meet or exceed testing standards relevant to their intended purpose, such as EN1078, CPSC 1203, Z89.1, it is the responsibility of authorized vendors of highbar to ensure all HighBar® equipped helmets they offer adhere to and are certified by the appropriate standards and notifying bodies.
